As usual, Harris brought her usual bag of tricks: a cringe-worthy fake Spanish accent, her trademark word salad, and, of course, some good old-fashioned finger-wagging. It was as overprocessed as anything you’d expect from her. But here’s the kicker—the entire event was rigged from the get-go. According to a new report, the audience was filled with people who had already made up their minds to support her. So much for reaching out to undecided voters. The whole spectacle was about as genuine as a politician’s promise to cut your taxes.

This is exactly why Kamala Harris is struggling, despite having every advantage handed to her on a silver platter. Her entire campaign feels manufactured. She didn’t win any votes in the primary and was installed by the Democratic Party elites. Now, her “joyful” campaign is falling apart, with polls showing a tight race in key swing states. The national polls don’t look much better. The press can try to keep propping her up, but it’s clear that voters are starting to see through the facade. At this point, it might just be better to be Donald Trump. The data speaks for itself, and Harris is looking more and more like a long shot.
