Pollster: If Trump Wins, We’ll See a Nationwide TDS Meltdown

Pollster Mark Halperin recently warned that if Donald Trump wins the upcoming election, the U.S.—and maybe the world—could be in for the biggest mental health crisis in modern history. Naturally, Democrats have been pushing the “civil war” narrative, claiming it would follow a Trump victory. But according to Halperin, the real issue might be something much worse: an outbreak of Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) that makes the hysteria of 2016 look like a minor tantrum.

In a discussion with Tucker Carlson, Halperin didn’t mince words when talking about how Kamala Harris supporters might handle a Trump win. He suggested it could spark the “greatest mental health crisis” the country has ever seen. Of course, the media will probably run wild with this, but Halperin seems to think this wave of TDS could have some real consequences—like people losing their grip on reality, much like what we saw during Trump’s first term.

Halperin also predicted that if Trump takes the presidency again, millions of Americans may feel completely disconnected from their country. He even speculated that mental health professionals could be overwhelmed by support requests. It could trigger trauma in the workplace, lead to rampant alcoholism, and perhaps even tear apart marriages. Let’s face it: some people just can’t handle the thought of Trump sitting in the Oval Office again, and Halperin believes it could get downright ugly.

The pollster further warned that the violence we might see in the wake of a Trump victory could be on a level that’s hard to fathom. He claimed the crisis could be “unprecedented” and “sustained,” leaving even the most mentally stable Americans struggling to process what’s happening. According to Halperin, those on the left view Trump’s supporters as fundamentally evil, which makes a second term for Trump almost unbearable in their eyes.

Adding fuel to the fire, MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough recently echoed similar concerns, alleging that Trump himself is gearing up for a “civil war.” While that claim might seem a bit theatrical, it’s hard to ignore the fact that emotions are running high on both sides. And according to a Rasmussen poll, about 40% of voters believe that a civil war could be somewhat or very likely if Trump doesn’t win the 2024 election.

Trump Derangement Syndrome was already a thing during his first term, with the media and Democrats foaming at the mouth every time they heard his name. If Trump pulls off another win in November, we can only expect the TDS to reach new, dizzying heights. One thing is certain—there’s never a dull moment when Trump is in the political spotlight, and the next election might just push some over the edge.
