CNN: Kamala Camp Ignoring ‘Warning Signs’

The polls claim Kamala Harris is leading, but at this point, who even knows what’s real? Her campaign, along with her running mate Tim Walz, likes to play the underdog card, as if they aren’t getting enough help from the media. Yet here we are, with CNN now expressing “concerns” about how things are shaping up for her. Despite her efforts to spin the narrative on issues like the border and the economy, CNN’s latest polling project, amusingly titled “The Breakthrough,” is showing that public awareness of Harris is on the decline while negative perceptions are on the rise. Shocking, right?

According to CNN’s report, fewer and fewer Americans even know what Harris is up to. Since her debate with Trump back in early September, public engagement with her campaign has dropped, and when people do hear something about her, it’s increasingly negative. Seems like the more Harris talks, the less people want to listen. The tone of the conversation surrounding her has hit rock bottom, marking the lowest point of her campaign so far. Hard to believe, especially considering how the media has been bending over backward to prop her up.

One of the more hilarious takeaways from CNN’s analysis is how the word “lie” is becoming one of the top words associated with Harris’s name. It’s now the fourth-most mentioned word, right up there with “border” and “polls.” That’s not exactly the kind of branding her campaign was hoping for. One survey respondent even summed it up nicely, saying Harris “uses a bunch of words that make no sense” and promises to close the border, but that it’s all just a lie to win votes. Ouch. But really, is anyone surprised?

Despite all the media fluff trying to elevate Harris and tear down Trump, the data from CNN’s “Breakthrough” project shows that her support is eroding. And it’s not just Republicans who are souring on her; Democrats and independents are also feeling less and less enthusiastic. Sure, the negative sentiment towards Trump is still out there, but Harris’s numbers are taking a steeper dive. Meanwhile, Trump’s post-debate bump has helped stabilize his numbers, and he’s even seeing some positive shifts among independents and Democrats.

Harris, on the other hand, is getting less attention than Trump, and let’s be honest—that’s probably for the best from her campaign’s perspective. Her public appearances haven’t exactly inspired confidence, and at this point, they’re more of a liability than an asset. While two-thirds of Americans have heard something about Harris recently, that number is steadily dropping, with more people paying attention to Trump instead. Maybe it’s just harder for people to get excited when all they hear are empty promises and rehearsed talking points.

With just a month left before the election, Harris is facing a pretty brutal reality. Public perception is turning against her, and fewer people are tuning in to hear her message. Even CNN, which usually runs interference for her, can’t avoid reporting the obvious: Kamala’s campaign is in trouble, and it might just be too late to turn things around.
