Biden’s DEI Agenda: What You Need to Know!

In the days of old, American diplomats were entrusted with defending the nation’s interests and values against foreign adversaries. However, today’s landscape paints a different picture, with President Joe Biden’s appointees seemingly bent on dismantling the very fabric of American society they are meant to represent.

The recent appointment of Zakiya Carr Johnson as the State Department’s Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer epitomizes this concerning trend. Secretary of State Antony Blinken hailed her appointment as a means to advance the department’s commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA). Yet, the steadfast adherence of the Biden administration to DEI initiatives, despite mounting evidence against their efficacy, remains puzzling.

The surge of DEI initiatives reached its zenith amidst the chaos of the 2020 riots spearheaded by the Marxist-founded Black Lives Matter movement. The resulting cultural transformation led many cultural institutions and organizations to embrace DEI fervently. However, a growing backlash against these initiatives has emerged, with companies now shying away from DEI programs due to their divisive nature and lack of tangible benefits.

Nevertheless, the Biden administration persists in its DEI crusade, seemingly indifferent to public opposition. Zakiya Carr Johnson’s appointment raises eyebrows, given her extensive background in DEI roles, including directorship of the “Race, Ethnicity, and Social Inclusion Unit” at the State Department and affiliations with left-leaning NGOs.

Johnson’s rhetoric mirrors the tenets of critical race theory (CRT), portraying the United States as inherently flawed and in need of systemic overhaul. Her advocacy for dismantling traditional structures and analyzing power dynamics aligns closely with CRT principles, which have permeated academia and now influence workplace discourse.

In her writings and speeches, Johnson emphasizes the interconnectedness of societal issues such as racism, patriarchy, and white supremacy, advocating for a wholesale reevaluation of existing power dynamics. Her appointment as the State Department’s diversity chief suggests a willingness to root out dissenting voices that challenge prevailing narratives of oppression.

Ultimately, the Biden administration’s embrace of ideologues like Johnson reflects a troubling trend wherein internal dissent is viewed as the enemy. Instead of confronting external threats, the focus has shifted inward, pitting Americans against each other in a divisive battle over ideological purity.
